Budget scenarios
We’ve added scenarios and investments to budgets, so you can test a what-if plan without touching the budget itself.- Create a scenario from the budget panel: it can add, change or disable budget items while the base budget stays as it is
- An investment only adds new budget items, so you can move it to another budget
- Switch scenarios on to see their effect in reports, or show only the scenario’s changes
- Duplicate a scenario, convert between scenario and investment, and use Promote to budget to merge a finished scenario into its base budget
Workbooks & a new sidebar
We’ve rebuilt the left navigation and renamed workspaces to workbooks, the name you already use for them.- The sidebar lists your workbooks with search and an All, Mine, Shared and Curated filter
- A New menu creates a workbook, template, chart or budget, or adds a tab or chart tab to the open workbook
- Expand a page or workbook in the sidebar to jump straight to one of its tabs, and resize or collapse the sidebar as you like
- Language, help, feedback and organization switching live in one account menu at the bottom of the sidebar, and the interface is available in English, Finnish and Swedish
- Every Actions menu now follows the same structure (Add, View, Modify, Data, Export, Configure), so commands are in the same place on every page
Account mapping & other improvements
- Account mapping: map profit & loss, balance sheet and cash flow accounts in one workbench, with a tab for each statement
- Charts: add a comparison series (difference, sum or A as % of B, also as variance %), pick the data source from one searchable list, and use Sankey and treemap charts
- Reports: TOTAL columns can show the average, median, minimum, maximum or standard deviation instead of a sum, Change dimension… switches a row’s breakdown right in the report, and a red chip next to the table title tells you when an accounting integration needs attention
- Labeling rules: every rule is now one filter-to-target mapping with no rule type to choose first, and Run rules re-applies the rules you select in one go
- Cash flow: link several payments to one document, and invoices paid in instalments or through Procountor’s clearing account now land in the cash flow on the days they were paid
Bug fixes
- Budgets: saving one month of a recurring item with an end date works again, Overview no longer turns one-off items into monthly ones or adds empty monthly entries, and a failed budget delete shows an error
- Formula rows that use “previous period” in a column without cadence now look back the column’s whole period, and TOTAL values show in drill-down rows
- Finnish interface: raw translation keys and missing Finnish texts are fixed, and report row titles and column preset names follow a language switch
- Workbooks and exports: two tables using the same template both load, table rows expand with the element’s own budget, Excel export works with special characters in the template title, and selection sums follow your number formatting
- Multiple other fixes and visual corrections
